Great article. This thought especially hit home:

I think you underestimate yourself, you have taken steps towards guruism(at least guru in training status). You are on the right path. As you have said, you are a work in progress. Spot on article, Craig.

It's also sad to see those that start off with great intentions turn into self-absorb asshats looking to make a buck with every thing they say. I can name quite a few (but won't) who I have enjoyed in the past, but can no longer stomach their holier-than-thou attitudes.

Fortunately there are still a lot of great folks out there doing great things. Even those that are delivering a message that may seem trite, when done authentically, they still provide value.
