I’ve had thousands of opportunities go past me because I’ve been too bloody lazy to get off my butt and go get them. I did however have an eye opening moment a few weeks back. after spending god knows how long wallowing in self pity about my fatness I actually saw myself for the first time in a long time. Yep, those white cars were clustered all over my body!!!!
after weighing in a whopping 129.9kg (phew missed the 130kg mark – lucky me! Sarcastic? Me?) I realised that waiting for the golden opportunity was stupidity – the opportunity was there every single day jumping up and down under my nose screaming “hello! Hellloooo!” All I had to do was stop being lazy, get off my butt and exercise and most importantly – stop shoveling crap food into my body!
Anyways, thanks for the article – it has vindicated my thoughts and new mindset!

Speaking of cake…. Did you forget???? You were gonna bake!!!
I find that when my heart is open I am able to receive opportunity soooo much better. If I close myself off through fear or other pessimistic attitudes, opportunity illudes me….
I can feel what others feel and become way more in tune with what’s going on around me. Open heart = open mind = opportunities galore
