Hello Kids
Well here I am; luxuriating up here in the beauty and serenity that is (off-peak) Noosa, Queensland. It’s a tough gig looking out my window at the ocean each morning but hey, that’s the kinda bloke I am; selfless. I’m thinking of relocating here permanently; if only I earned a bazillion dollars each year. Tonight (writing this late Monday) I hooked up with some awesome me-dot-com folk from up here in the Sunshine State and while there was much talking, laughing, hugging and coffee consumption to be seen, you’ll be shocked to learn that not one piece of cheesecake passed my deprived lips. To you guys (okay, girls) who came along to say hi and share some 3D love, thanks. It was great to hang out and get to know you beyond the blogosphere. xx
I will send a special mention to Julie, who drove two and a half hours (each way) to share a coffee with me; that’s commitment. Or something. 
RYL Show Reel
Over the last few weeks our media production guru, Chris Marsh, has been putting together a little show reel of our recent RYL program. As we are constantly being asked about the program, we thought we might save ourselves some question-answering time if we could produce a video snapshot of the two-day program. It is shot in hi-def and the soundtrack is kinda rockin’ if you have some decent speakers on your computer. It runs for just over six minutes and I hope you enjoy it. Just click on the play button.

Oh wow, that was awesome and Chris, wonderfully put together.
It was sooooo much fun, I thought I would give RYL2 a go lol.
It will be great to catch up with people from RYL1 again.

Tremendous! Exciting to see people go through such an eye-opening event. I hope that this coming RYL changes many mindsets and lives. I know now that Change is a Choice. I used to think that I couldn’t lose weight and keep it off. But you’ve shown me that I can do it. Going from can’t and won’t to can and will starts in the brain. Once you get that part, the rest will fall into place. At least it did for me.
It seemed like a simple concept, but it turned me completely around. I am planning on being forever fit!

Wow! Well done Chris (Tarantino) Marsh! Loved the soundtrack. Very evocative. Had a little bit of wee.
The strange thing is that Suz and I were saying on the phone only yesterday afternoon that we hope that Chris will be there at RYL2. We were wondering how he’s been going since RYL when he stepped out from behind the camera and stole our hearts.

Wow, Chris Marsh is a media production guru (oops, you said that) – the video was great. Funny thing with the song “We are all in this together” (Ben Lee) – I made a family CD thingy last Christmas with shots of, of course, family and chose that song for the soundtrack. I love it. “I’m made of atoms, you’re made of atoms and we’re all…….”.oh, I’d better stop singing.
Anyway, I gave it to my brother and sister in law who have been going thru a few tough times over last few years as I j wanted to remind them they we were there for them and …yes, that we’re ALL in this together!

RYL looks awesome and I susupect that you’re meet up last night must also have been great. I did think about taking that looong drive to Noosa myself, but my kids needed me to be here (and I’m a wimp on roads at night, by myself), so instead I was with ya’ll in spirit (so to speak). Couldn’t taste the cheesecake tho’. (insert smiley, if I had one).
Move to Queensland ? Why not Craig – we could do with a Harperdome up here – somewhere iin the north/western suburbs of Brisbane would be very nice ?! (Insert next smiley, if I had one !)
We have great beaches, great weather and a laid back (ish) lifestyle. Your parents would also love the hinterland. Sold you yet?
