CH Update

Island Boy

Hi Guys. Sorry I’ve been a little not here this week. I’m currently on Hamilton Island (for my international readers – somewhere near the top of Oz) doing some corporate stuff and doing my best to poke, probe, motivate and let’s be honest, offend, my audience all the way to amazing. Yesterday I was in Noosa (another coastal town) working with a different company and tomorrow (I’m writing this Thursday night) I’m heading back to the urban hum of good old Melbourne for the weekend.

New Book

It’s also been a crazy week finalising stuff with the new book (layout and design type stuff) and making sure it gets to the printer next Monday (Nov. 22) with zero typos or glitches. At this stage, we’re 99% sure that we will have books in our hands on Tuesday, November 30 – so that’s a little bit exciting. Having said that, Johnnie has been proof reading this week so who knows what we’ll end up with.

Good grief.

I keep getting asked about the title and all I can say is that… I can’t say.

Yet.

What I will say (about the title) is that it will definitely generate a reaction. Or probably, a range of reactions. Let’s just say that I haven’t erred on the side of political correctness.

Shocking, I know.

I can tell you the book contains just over one hundred pages, it’s practical, blunt, mildly amusing and can be read (by most people) in about ninety minutes. Two hours if you’re a plodder. My goal was to write a personal development book for people who don’t really like (mainstream) personal development. I didn’t want it to be (too) long, boring, confusing or cheesey. I wanted it to be provocative, engaging, relevant and practical. I think I achieved what I set out to.

It’s kind-of like a very long post and it’s based on thirty principles that I believe are no-brainers when it comes to the challenge of creating lasting positive change in our world.

Anyhoozle, time for me to go to a dinner and look important (fat chance).

I’ll be back to normal next week. See you then.

Group hug. ( )  :)
