You are not going to believe this but I have read and enjoyed both of these books. Like you Victoria I was a little bit freaked out by ‘Journey of Souls’ but read the entire book. Thanks girls and congratulations on your reviews.
Dianne, I completely agree with your summation of 90 Minutes in Heaven. When my sister first told me about it I thought it sounded a bit weird, but like you I couldn’t put it down. What was your favourite part in the book?
Hi, Can you please put the name of the books being reviewed in the summary. They’ll be easier to search and refer back to where they’re archived on the posts page. Thanks.
Thank you for your kind comments Peta and Claire.
Victoria your book sounds like something I would enjoy. I have read Sylvia Browne who does similar kinds of topics.
The answer to your question Claire about my favorite part of the book….
Don is going to a religious conference. It is 2 years after his accident and he still wears braces.
The place is huge and he wants to get there early so he won’t have to climb the stairs.
One of the students is late and he starts the day off frustrated. When they get there they have to climb to the top of the auditorium. He looks down and sees a young teenager in a wheelchair.
He musters up the strength and goes back down the stairs.
He finds the 16 year old wearing the same contraption on his leg that he had worn.
It meant the WORLD to this boy to meet someone going thru what he is.
He gives several other accounts of reaching out to others going thru what he had. Very touching!! Definitely gave purpose to his suffering.
