Hi Guys. Take a look at book review 24 by the very fabulous Kris Rollag here. Feel free to comment on the reviewed book, to encourage our reviewer, or just say hi and add your thoughts. Dates for the national tour and a new post will be up tomorrow. Thanks for all the feedback on Brett’s music from yesterday’s post; he’s lovin’ the love. I’ll keep you updated on his progress with his album and the record companies. And of course, I’m still pushing for Under the Dojo.
Tomorrow we’re going to take a look at some of the potential pitfalls in the big wide world of Personal Development. It ain’t always all it’s cracked up to be. Interesting stuff. See you then.
Enjoy your Tuesday.
P.S. Do you prefer the new head shot (top left) or the old one (see DVD cover below in left side bar)? Not looking for compliments just constructive feedback. Thanks for your help.
Ciao x

The good bit:-
Love the new photo as it truly reflects you – warm, friendly and relaxed.
The not so good bit:-
Feel the logo on the t-shirt detracts from your face and the shoulders slouched position conveys weakness rather than strength.
Hope that’s not too tough!

Top Left. You look more relaxed, approchable. Great smile on both!
Randy Pausch’s last lecture is absolutely fantastic. When I first watched it, I went on to say it was the most valuable 60 minutes of my life I’ve ever spent on the Internet.
I’m pleased to see it is now in book form. Thanks for the review, Kris.
Craig, I prefer the new shot. The old one was good but it all looks too calculated. Probably because of the suit and the pose with the hand on the chin. The new one looks much more natural to me.
Of course, ya still ugly as hell, but there ain’t much anybody can do about that.
Kiddin’ mate. Kiddin. Please don’t eat me.

Hi Craig. I prefer your pose on the old one but the lighting is better on the new one. Does that help ? No ? I didn’t think so !
{HUGS} Tina
Hi Craig,
The new one is a big improvement from the DVD version — good riddance to “The Thinker” chin-in-hand…
But you look like a walking product placement for the Diesel brand — is that what you intended?
Dan
Definitely the new one, after not having seen you for over 5 years the old one did not really look like you. This new one has the sparkle in your eye that I remembered and often dreaded in the old training days.

Hi Craig – I much prefer the body language of the old shot. I think you look hipper and more laid back in the new one… but the old shot seems to reflect what you’re about.
Not sure if that makes sense!
Linda
Thanks for the tough love ptprincess… I’m up for it.

Be careful Brad Pitt, er, I mean Jamie Harrop… you’re coming to Melbourne aren’t you?
Hi Dan – yeah, the Diesel thing is a little prominent isn’t it?
Hmmm.
Ta
Thanks Jill… ( )
Thanks Linda.. whatever the consensus is, that’s what I’m going with.
Cheers…
Hi Craig,
Didnt you have several shots taken in various outfits?? I like the new one, but do agree on the logo being too prominent. I think I would have preferred a sportier logo…or even a tank top to show off your buffiness… hee hee…
Cheers,
Pet

Love the new shot (nice arms!)- but I agree, you’re not a label kind of guy so ask the photographer to work his magic!
I love the new shot…
No so posed as the previous one…
Just also listerned to “Brett”… perhaps when his album is ready for sale, you could let us know where to get it from… great music!
New shot is great. Looks full of energy and more “alive” (in a nice way) than the original shot.
Nothing against the original shot but not so keen on the hand under the chin. I think this was quite a popular pose a few years ago but looks a bit dated now.
Hi Craig,
I prefer the new Diesel shirt photo – it seems more “you”. What I mean is it shows the personality and voice I feel I’ve gotten to know via your blog.
Cheers! Julie.
I like the posing for the new headshot better, the cropping on the old one, and the lighting of the old one… A little bit of photoshop work could fix the cropping and lighting of the new one, but that’s just my personal opinion.
Hi Craig,
I’m only new to reading your blog, and what a way to introduce myself, but I agree with the others. The new shot is a better pose but the diesel T shirt just doesn’t do it for me and your face looks a bit dark and shadowy which to my mind makes you look less open.
Cheers
JJ
Aww no compliments, no fair! :p
Honestly, I prefer the old one simply because it highlights your eyes. You are so genuine, I like to be able to see that in your eyes.
I hope that helps Craig.

Definetely the new photo – wasn’t bothered by the Diesel logo much, personally. Just a more relaxed shot, yet one that also projects energy & joy.
The old one seems to convey more the thoughtful persona – both good photos, just different messages.
Anyhow, my vote is definetely for the new one!
Cheers, Monica
Hi Craig,
I think both shots look good, but i think the old one reflects the thinker that you are. The new on reflects the fun side of your personality that coms through in the blogs, it depends on audience you are targeting!
The new one targets a younger hipper group and the old photo targets a more corporate and formal world….
No harm in using both for different purposes….
I know you were seeking our thoughts, but which one do you feel more comfortable with and why?
Cheers Andy x
PS I’m voting the top L) hand corner
Yep, the new one is my choice too but minus the logo …. as ptprincess said, it detracts from your face. And we all want to see that !!!!!! I think your eyes crinkle up and smile more genuinely in the new one, as if you are just about to laugh your head off !!! You look younger !!!!
I thought either was great, although I agree with the other comments about “the thinker” and the logo.
However I reckon the new one needs a bit of contrast, there is too much shadow around your head – unless that was the plan. The one on the DVD cover is a bit washed out… (picky I know)
Craig,
I love the new photo, it makes you look younger and more fun. You look more up to date. The T-shirt didn’t bother me but it did jump out at me.
Heard you on the radio this morning, you crack me up… I see this great photo of you then hear you saying you feel you look shocking, mind you Dee Dee didn’t help lol. Loved the topic too diabetes is something I am losing weight to avoid.
Looking forward to the next post
Hugs to you
Michelle
