Hi Sue. Great review. I’m off to get that book tomorrow – if I can find it. Thanks so much.
Anne R.
Sue, it sounds like a great book to read. Thanks. Patricia
Dear Sue: I loved your impressive review of the road less traveled by the author. I look forward to reading her book. In the meantime, I take comfort in the knowledge that you’re learning how to derive meaning and pleasure from even the bumpiest of flights. You won’t need a parachute much longer now that you’re learning how to glide!
Hi Sue,
Great review. I read this book while I was on holidays, and I loved it. It has inspired me to ALMOST decide to go with my Italian class to Italy this year to complete some uni studies…the author had so much courage to change her life the way she did, and to be so open to new experiences. It’s a really enjoyable read, and your review was excellent.
Sue

Gidday Sue,
I have not read this book however got a good feel from your review. I however would like to challenge your thought that Elizabeth was courageous in doing what she did. Although people perceive actions like this to be brave, I believe that they are a lot more honest than brave. To accept a need for change or in fact perform a change as per Elizabeth, shows to me an enormous amount of honesty. Bravery coming into the story with the things she did post her honesty with herself and decision that she was not happy with the way her life was. Unfortunately I am not an die hard reader but will have to fit this into my books to read at some stage. Thanks for the review. Cheers, Vin.
Bridgemaster el – the load less traveled is full of unexpected gifts and this book definitely helped to feel a sense of hope on that front. Thanks for checking out the review!

Hi there Sue….
I’m glad you enjoyed the review. This is a good book to read on holiday.
What a lovely name you have
I agree, that Elizabeth Gilbert’s journey took a good deal of courage and she was so open to whatever came her way. It sounds like you’re feeling pretty open to new possibilities yourself.
How great that the book brought you closer to your dream of going to Italy. Almost is great. That means the next time you think about it you’ll actually be doing it. Good for you. Isn’t it amazing how reading a book like this can inspire us to change in our own lives? Maybe you’ll write about your own adventures in Italy someday. Let me know when you do and I’ll be first in line at the bookstore.
Sue
Seb…
Thank you for the warm welcome. I’m so happy to be part of the community of amazing folks that gathers around Craig’s site. I get so much from the site myself, so I feel very lucky to be able to contribute!

Kate,
How fantastic that you are reading the book now! I love it when that kind of delicious “coincidence” occurs. I’m glad you think I did the book justice. There was so much to say about it. It keeps getting better, so enjoy the rest of the read. Thanks!
Sue
Vin….
How right you are! Thank you for adding that really important point. The kind of changes Elizabeth made had to start with brutal self-honesty. It’s clear in the book that it was really hard for her to face the truth, but that’s what she did. This book is well worth reading so I’m glad you’re adding to it to your list to read someday.
Sue
Hey Sue,
This book has been on my list of books to read. After reading your review it has moved up my list!!
As a fellow reviewer you have helped set the bar!! I’ve got lots of reading to do…..
Just a suggestion to you and the other reviewers.
If we could announce the book we intend to read and review. Just in case both of us are thinking of the same book.
My first review is The 90 minutes I spent in Heaven by Don Piper.
Again, Great Job Sue!
