A New Year and a New Body

I apologise in advance for the somewhat commercial nature of today’s instalment. Feel free to ignore it. A man’s gotta make a living though ;) .
You, Only Better!

How would you like a new body for the New Year? Well, perhaps not a new body but maybe an improved version of the model you’re currently driving.

As you may or may not know, one of the services we offer via this site is On-Line Personal Training and Fitness Coaching. Our On-Line Training Director (the lovely Dee) has decided that, in the spirit of helping (some of) you get in shape for the New Year (and the rest of your life, of course) it’s time for her to dangle a carrot to get you started. Or perhaps chocolate cake would work better? Hmm.

Anyway, Dee has decided that until the end of this month anyone who enlists the services of one of our On-Line Trainers for our seven week Training and Mentoring Program will receive a one hundred dollar discount. That is, our $497.00 program for $397.00. Here’s a snapshot of what that involves:

Seven Week Online Training Mentoring Program:

This is a seven week program designed for people looking for on-going accountability, direction, feedback and support from their Coach as they move towards creating forever change. The program consists of:

  • A 30 minute initial consultation via telephone, email, SKYPE or face to face to explore and evaluate your current lifestyle habits, your exercise goals and ideas to get you organized to achieve the best possible results.
  • A second 30 minute consultation to discuss program, detailed goals and an achievable action plan.
  • A comprehensive personalised 6 week cardio and resistance training program.
  • Nutritional guidelines and shopping tips.
  • Weekly 15 minute telephone (or skype) consultations to discuss your progress, answer questions, provide feedback and support to assist you in achieving your goals.
  • Unlimited email support.
  • A 15 minute post-program follow-up consultation to discuss results, answer questions and explore further actions.

Many people have found this program to be a very effective starting point to their health/fitness/weight-loss journey. It can also make a great present for someone who’s spinning their wheels and needs a little help. If you’re interested to learn more or make a booking click here.

Queensland Renovate Your Body Program

Don’t forget that Johnny and I will be in Brisbane on Sunday week to conduct a one-day version of our RYB Program. If you’re tired of almost getting in shape, this program is for you. If you feel like you’ve already wasted too much time, potential and energy trying to transform your body, this experience will be an eye-opener.
If you’re looking for a magic pill, stay at home but if you’re serious about changing your internal and external reality forever, come along. For more info or to book, click here.

Ciao :)

Hi Craig,

Hmmm. I’d like a new body for the New Year. Please tell Dee to deliver Simon Baker to …

You know what? Every time someone mentions Christmas, I automatically think, ‘Oh, no! The year is almost gone and I’m still fat and I can’t believe I haven’t lost weight and … wait a minute! I’m not fat! I’m fitter, leaner and stronger than I have been since, like, EVER! I finally did it!’

Can I tell you how good that feels?

It feels better than chocolate. Or pizza. Or Red Rock Deli Chips. Or sleeping in. Or watching tv (even if The Mentalist is on). Or wine. Or even a fresh baguette with crunchy peanut butter.

And it feels so much better than whingeing about my weight – I was even starting to bore myself.

If every single person who is overweight and unfit could ‘test drive’ this feeling for just five minutes – to feel light, comfortable, fit, strong and free – then they would have no problem making better choices. Had I known earlier, I certainly wouldn’t have stuffed around for so long.

Ok. I’ll step down from my soap box now.

Have an amazing Tuesday everyone.

Ahh Christina great point it is possible to get a NEW body for the new YEAR… I think I will go shopping …. for Christmas…

Very generous offer Miss Dee and Craig .. I personally use to do online training and I did this for a year and it worked wonders for me… as although I was accountable it also taught me alot about my own honesty and gave me more consistency…. . I now have my own coach (2 weeks old)…as I am heading into competitions, who would have thought… BUT if you are offering Simon Baker delivered … IM IN!

That is so right Christina!!! I’m going to print that off and put it on my wall. We so often take the easy option and have that chocolate or not do that exercise cause we’re too tired.

I did the 7 week program with Dee and found it such a big help. The exercise program was great, lots of variety and custom made to suit me. I haven’t done so well after i finished with her unfortunately, I think I need that accountability partner.

I have to ask the question what price can you put on your health? Personally it is priceless… It always amazes me how people say gym membership etc is so expensive when in reality one takeaway meal with coke $30 and honesty how many of those a week do unhealthy people have, not to mention the consistent winging, hating oneself, not wanting photos nor enjoying your body PRICELESS! And if accountability is what gets most there then why not be accountable..

Also Michael – the GYM IS EXCITING ………….. Not sure which one you are going to but ours goes off… TRY RPM
* a bit bored at work today. cant wait to go and rip it up tonight.

Kate – I’m with you. There has to come a point where you need to take responsibility for your decisions and actions and the (positive or negative) consequences that follow from them. When you realise that your own health and wellbeing is your highest priority then you will be prepared to sacrifice that take-away meal or that icecream or chocolate bar or cheesecake. Initially, it takes a big effort but once you build momentum – and it really only takes maybe 4-7 days – it is almost second nature. Once you learn to ride a bike/drive a car you never forget. And like Craig said yesterday, you not just need to know what you want, how to get it and why you want it but you have to put in the work consistently (ie. not just for 4 hrs each Monday).

Our body, our health, our wellbeing = priceless. For everything else there is Mastercard [or Visa] ;)
