Hi Guys.
As you may, or may not know, Johnnie (the backbone) and I are forever modifying, tweaking and developing the site. Our goal is to develop (and maintain) one of the best personal development sites on the planet.
To this point in time we have made many mistakes and because we are all about being our best, we will continue (happily and humbly) to make a lot more.
Thanks largely to Johnnie’s tireless work, commitment and energy, we have made amazing progress in a relatively short period of time; lots of visitors, lots of nice feedback and a site which is starting to look, feel and function the way we hoped it would.
Thankyou, oh great bald one.
The site is a work in progress (as am I) and we are constantly asking questions, researching, learning, creating great relationships, meeting fantastic people (like you) and doing our best to develop something amazing for you and your friends at no cost, with no agenda and no catches.
My commitment to you is free quality information, inspiration and education via the site for as long as I have the energy and the desire. I do not charge, will not be charging and will never ask for donations (if you didn’t know, many personal development sites ask for donations or ‘sell’ their information).
I am not being critical of any authors / bloggers who do charge, but I won’t be.
If you visit my site every day for the next ten years, never post a comment, never say hello or never spend a cent (on books etc.) I am more than happy to have you as friend and visitor. If I have one small request, it is that you share the site with others (if you think it’s worth sharing).
As you may or may not know, my life is busy (okay, crazy.. but in a good way) and there are times when I will struggle to write daily. I will do my best to produce quality posts four or five days per week, some weeks it might be three days, others, seven.
I’ll do my best.
In the next week or so Johnnie and I are going to record my first video-post.
We have decided that every now and then, instead of writing my post, I would record a five to ten minute video message and deliver my post for the day in person (kind of).
You will simply have to click a link and watch and listen.
Unfortunately, you will have to look at me.
Sorry.
Waddya think of the concept?
So I was thinking, what’s better than two blokes developing a site?
A. A whole bunch of people developing the site.
I would love your input, suggestions and feedback about the site.
What would you like me to write about?
What do you want more or less of?
Weekly video posts?
Perhaps you’ve got some amazing ideas.
But then, why would you give them to me?
Good point.
Anyway, you know what I mean.
The first few months in the life of craigharper.com have been an amazing ride and I wanted to thank you for your encouragement, support and kind words.
Keep them coming.
I’ll continue to work hard if you do.

Hi ya Craig,
You have become my Daily Destination for Inspiration.
You’re making The World a Better place one reader at a time!!
I am looking forward to “hearing” you in the future.
Live from Snowy Ontario Canada
Hey there buddy!
I think the idea of a video would be awesome!! This way all your readers will see and hear that you are ‘the real deal’!!
Inspirational video’s would, in my opinion, deliver some very powerful images and messages. Just like the Team Hoyt video you feature. These videos inspire others to keep going when all looks lost.
I have a close friend, let’s call him Joe for now, who is fighting the ‘big C’ and he is one of the most positive people I have met!
Joe strongly believes in the concept that a positive mind can cure all ills. And to this point in time, his positive attitude is working like a charm for him. It is helping Joe get through the trials and tribulations of living with the ‘big C.’
I have referred Joe to your blogs where he has viewed the Team Hoyt video time and again and each time he views the video he becomes quite emotional (like most of us!). This inspirational video helps to keep him strong!!
So I reckon that any video based on your blog topics of Personal Development, Health & Fitness, Motivation, Education, Business, and Humour will be of great interest to your readers.
And I would like to personally thank you for this site, and especially in the way it is helping Joe through his battle!
Keep up the good work Mr Harper! You’re a true champion!!
All the best….
the other Craig.
PS: find time to get a day off once in a while. We don’t want you to suffer a burnout!!
Hi Dianne,
Daily Destination for Inspiration… I like that. Why didn’t I call my blog that?
Doh!
Snowy Ontario sounds very inviting.. if I’m ever in Ontario, I want you to throw a snowball at me… us Aussies miss out on the whole snow thing (unless we travel to the snow fields)..
We have heat, rain and some more heat… and rain.
Enjoy your day and thanks for your kind words.
Hey Craig,
time off.. .what’s that?
Thanks for your support Man.
Cheers Skater Boy.
A Big Thanx!
I was taught a few years back that if you learn something, you learn in sharing it with others. Life does not have a price, yes, somethings cost us, but the things that we value the most have an infinite value.
I am glad & thank you, in taking time out of your day & share for our benefit, anything & everything.
You have a very humble nature that gives us a few kicks in the right direction or makes us open our eyes to things we may or may not know already.
Great rewards & Appreciation to You!
Cheers
Carmon
Hi Carmon,
you are welcome.
Thanks for your thoughts and thanks for saying hi.
Cheers.
Your words have been very inspirational – Hey I listened to you on the radio the other morning and heard about your Bad Food Guide. Sounds great. Good luck filming the video, look forward to it……you go Kenny (for all our OS visitors Kenny is a fantastic new Australia Video). big thank you to Johnnie the webmaster.

Hi Craig, can’t wait to see and hear you on video. I find your blog very inspirational. This whole internet thing allows me to get motivation from a guy in Melbourne Australia who is half way around the world. Pretty Cool.
Tampere, Finland.
Thanks Craig. I have read over 30 of your articles and I am still going. This is the first place I visit every day looking for something new and motivational. Look forward to seeing you on video.

A video-post would be great! And, I’m sure it would be popular – the comments above certainly suggest it would.
I have been dabbling in podcasting and had great feedback from readers. Speaking personally, when you can see/hear someone it makes them seem more real, for want of a better word, and easier to relate to.
Hi
Me again. You asked what we would like you to write about – I would love to hear what you think about dealing with times of doubt. I’m lucky because I do what I love for a living, but I have these days when I feel almost like an imposter, I know that sounds silly. The thing is, I’m not alone in this – I have heard quite a few other people say the same thing. Any advice for dealing with this?
Hey JSP.
Here’s some love for you XX ( )
Thanks for your support.
Hi Niina, well you won’t have to wait long… hope you can understand my Australian accent.. the whole long-distance motivation thing is cool isn’t it?
Cheers.
Hi Rina,
Keep reading and keep doing!
Best wishes.
Hi Kate,
(1)I agree… I think the video concept is a nice addition to what we already do.
(2)Everyone doubts and feels like a fraud or feels lost, unsure or directionless at times.. so I will explore it in the near future.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Cheers.
Craig… I have to thank you so much for being my motivation.. my willpower (when I have little)… and giving me the kick in the arse when I needed it. I brought your book “Fattitude” and it has been a turning point in my lifestyle…
I have been popping in here for a while now, checking out your site! Thank you for having motivation there when I need it most..
I have had three babies, and with that a substational weight gain (that I have thankfully removed with some more…) but I want more..
personally, the point that hit home more then ANYTHING in your book that there is no magic pill, or diet or that magic exercise program that will make you thin and healthy tomorrow… That they are all tools… you still have to do it!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Hello Yummy Mummy,
(can’t believe I just wrote that)
You are very welcome… and congrats on what you’ve achieved.
Cheering you on..
I am 53 and I have been recovering from a mystery debilitating medical condition for the past six months. There have been many days when I really haven’t felt like moving even though that it what I must do to get my muscles working properly. Now when I don’t feel like exercising I read a blog or two of yours and it really gives me the kick in the backside I need to change my attitude and get out there to do what I need to do and I thank you for that.
I think the video post is a great idea but can I suggest that you also include a transcript for those of us rural folk with dodgey dialups who are unable to download videos easily.
Well Hello Dollie,
sorry, couldn’t help myself.
Thanks for visiting and thanks for your suggestion… you’re just trying to increase my workload aren’t you!
Have a fun day.
craig
