RYL Snapshot

Another Stupid Burger

Hi Boys and Girls, no post today (as such) and the attached picture is completely unnecessary but people keep sending me weird photo’s of ridiculous burgers from various locations around the world. So thanks (kind of) to Julie Schubert for sending me this little(?) baby from some burger joint in the States. It has over 6,000 calories and will kill you before morning.

Speaking Geographically

On a healthier note, I hope you’re enjoying your week and doing what you need to do, to create your best life. As most of you know, at the moment the Bald Man and I are flitting (I always wanted to use that word in a post) around our vast continent to share the Renovate Your Life message, spending most weekends in a different state. And when I say state, I’m speaking geographically, not emotionally. Or alcoholically. Is that a word? Must be. It’s published on my site. Although, Johnny has been known to knock down the odd Crownie (beer) or fifteen. And to be honest, I do get a little needy from time to time. So perhaps I am speaking alcoholically and emotionally. But I digress. As usual.

Anyway, I’m constantly being asked about the content of the RYL program and when we’re going to release a CD/DVD series of the actual half-day and full-day workshop. Well, we’re (slowly) doing just that. We are in the process of recording and editing while we’re on the current tour, but I thought you might be interested in taking a listen to the first ten minutes (completely unedited) of our Adelaide workshop last Saturday. If you have an aversion to swearing or you are a little precious, you might wanna come back tomorrow. And for you thrill-seekers, just click on the arrow thingy below and take a listen…

Craig,

Thanks, now I am really looking forward to Nov 2!!!

So what was Jo’s story regarding the cheesecake????

Thanks so much for running the competition you did because I now have another friend…Jo! And yesterday I touched base with SJ who was also at the mentoring session! There is no end to what you will do for all of us is there :)

Oh and that hamburger is unreal! That would feed my kids and me for a week at least! (pass thanks!!!)

Enjoy the rest of your flitting …glad you could finally use it! I reckon you can use any word you want…we could have the Craigtionary!

Hugs to you for making me laugh! (love that, thanks)

Dear Craig,

The little (or quite a lot to some) content that you have given us who have not met you or heard you speak before, was pretty cool. Personally I did not really know what to expect.

A few weeks ago, I booked a return flight to Sydney and booked in to attend your Sydney RYL. I’m probably even more excited now, after listening to your excerpt here. Because now I know I’m going to get a good kick up the backside, be inspired, entertained, learn something about possibilities in life to continue moving forward. I’m guessing there will be more to get all revved up about too! And I’m looking forward to it.

I think too, that these seminars you are offering at fabulous value, are opportunities for your ‘fans’ to say thanks to you personally as well. You have helped so many people Craig – what a great way for us to give back hey?!

So thanks for sharing -it was a good idea. It will be great to hear/see the final product when it happens.

Have a fabulous rest of your week!

Kathryn aka ‘K’

P.S. This is a part of my growing as me – so thank you for bringing this out to the fore (made evident at the start of your excerpt). Hiding behind something has been one of the many tricks of my past. So …lovely to meet you Craig….and everybody else!

(sigh of relief!!!!) whew! :-) That feels good!

Hey Craig,

Oh and that burger…gross!!!!!!!!!

Linda September 22, 2008 at 9:54 pm

Hi Craig,

I should say something cheesy like ‘long time listener, first time comment-er’, but that would be weird and stalker-ish.

Had a listen to the first 10 minutes of Adelaide, and just wanted to tell you that I’m looking forward to Melbourne all the more.

I ordered your ‘Fattitude’ book the other day. Quite looking forward to that arriving too.

Come to think of it, it IS a little stalker-ish.

I guess the big question is do you MIND if I stalk you?

LOL. I’m so glad I crack myself up.

Linda
PS: What a bizarre first comment for you?!

Tina September 22, 2008 at 11:36 pm

Hey Craig ! Thanks for the insight into what’s in store for us in a couple of months’ time ! I’m really looking forward to it.
That burger should be banned… or sent to Ethiopia where it would feed ten families for two months !

Hi Craig,

Thanks for the great audio snippet. I’ve been receiving your daily posts for a few months now and they’re always fun to read and put a kick in my day (which starts about now being on graveyard shift).

Look forward to saying hi at the Melbourne RYL workshop in November.

Also, producing a DVD/Video of the workshops is great idea – being able to watch the material frequently would really help: repetition is the mother of skill as they say.

Cheers.
Paul.

Hi, Craig

I enjoy your way of motivating, Craig. In the tape you have said that is no necessity for education to create our better life. In fact it is necessity, you have to be educated about yourself to create better life. You are our mentor. :)

Happy evening team,
Saulius

Joanne September 23, 2008 at 3:27 am

Hi Craig, even when I was sucking up everything like a vacuum cleaner I don’t think I would have attacked that burger.
I listened to the taping and I was dissapointed that it finished before you started screaming like a banshee that we were all fat bastards beyond help. Something for the other states to look forward to. lol.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, will have to be careful who I talk about in the future.
Joanne.

We’re lucky to have you around us.
Thanks again.

Ben September 23, 2008 at 10:57 am

Hopefully the burger joint sells pre-paid funeral plans – several of those “bad boys” would fatten one up to be worm food.

Craig Harper September 23, 2008 at 11:32 am

Hey Ben – I’m hearin ya.

Cashmere September 23, 2008 at 6:12 pm

Amazing stuff here. Great site.

chelletrina September 23, 2008 at 6:16 pm

Hi Michelle,

Jo made a cheesecake but left it in the oven about an hour too long because of an emergency outside the house. She thought it would be foul and overcooked. She wouldn’t taste it….lol

I ate it Sunday night. It was really, really good, maybe the best one she’s ever made.

Sorry Craig, you missed some bloody excellent cheesecake there mate! You should have worked harder on that whole overthinking thing with her…lol

RYL was great!

Cheers,
Tim Thomas
